we store the html files you upload, plus minimal metadata (size, upload time, expiry, view count). we don't read or analyze the contents of your files beyond automated safety checks. we don't sell data. anonymous uploads expire after 24 hours and are permanently deleted within 8 days of publishing. full privacy policy coming soon.

your account. if you’re signed in, we note against your account when you open the pricing page, try a paid feature, or start a checkout — which feature and when, nothing else — so the dashboard can pick up where you left off. it stays in our own database and never goes to google analytics.

analytics. this site (htmlshare.net's own pages — never the pages you publish) uses google analytics to see which pages help, with anonymous usage events only: pageviews, publish attempts, button clicks. no email addresses, no file contents. if you're in the eu/eea, uk, or switzerland, analytics stays off until you accept the cookie banner; your choice is kept for 12 months in a single first-party cookie (hs_consent), and you can change it any time via “cookies” in the footer.
